
The Roundtable Session
Regularly meeting with your industry peers is at the core of the REX Roundtables. All members are carefully screened and selected for a good chemistry match with the group. No competitors are allowed. The focus is in depth exploration of your issues, sharing what each member company does best, refining your decisions and strategies. And all with a group that understands your industry or field and what its like to be the leader-the person who stops the buck. Since the same members return again and again, you will be held accountable and supported by your peers and your chair to take action and implement your decisions. Egos are checked at the door which creates a non competitive environment in which you will get honest, caring feedback on your organization, its performance and your leadership which is simply unavailable from your direct reports or your board.
The Industry Focus
The most powerful element in the REX Roundtables is fourteen CEOs all from the same industry. Typically high performers. Now able to share in the strictest of confidentiality. Comparing Key Performance Indicators and using them as insights and motivation to better performance. Regular comparisons of key strategic and operational areas allows everyone to learn. Many times every one in the meeting says, 'I paid for the whole Roundtable in the last half hour.' Our Critical Organization visits where three or more other RT members conduct a rigorous evaluation of your organization from sales to operations to human resources and then conduct an in depth debriefing, has led to many breakthroughs in performance. The REX Chair
The chair drives the meetings. They are experienced executives who understand what makes a difference in your organization. Chairs aggressively facilitate the session towards productive ends. They are skilled at being direct and persistent with uncomfortable issues. Yet balancing this out is a superb ability to listen, to get to know you and your business. Ultimately chairs are driven to help you and your enterprise break out and succeed at new levels. Of course, your chair and our RT administrator orchestrate the whole process, meetings, sites, food, conference calls, etc.
The REX Values

Each REX Roundtables accumulates a set of Core Resources tailored to your industry. These often include assessment and guides to action. They cover twenty eight basic areas that all businesses and non profits must pay attentions to from Strategy to Results. The resources are available on line so you can retrieve any ones presented in your Roundtable.
Implementation
Rex is deeply committed to implementation and getting results back home. We have developed the most sophisticated mechanism for doing this The Getting Better Teams. Currently we are developing an on line Accountability Tracking software as well as an online classroom so you can share what was presented in the Roundtable with your team back home.
